I have to admit that when “The” CocknBullKid first did the rounds a few years back, I wasn’t hugely fussed about her. But when she came back last year, shorn of her definite article, with a storming eponymous single (see below), I started paying attention again.
Now I know any regular readers will be sick of me mentioning Chilly Gonzales on here, but here we go again… his paws are all over the new material, which he has co-written with Anita. Coupled with production by Liam Howe (formerly of the Sneaker Pimps and producer of Marina’s Family Jewels), I’m expecting LOTS of good things from this new record.
And this latest taster doesn’t disappoint. Upbeat, cheering, inspiring stuff. Deserves to be huge.
