Best video I’ve seen all year.
It’s rare I’ll actually pay serious attention to a video, rather than just going “pretty image fits with pretty song” or “this looks balls”. Yes, I belong to the Beavis and Butthead school of music vid criticism. I KNOW.
Anyway, this one has lots of the “pretty image fits with pretty song” going on, but it’s also at pains to keep reminding you that this is NOT JUST THE PRETTY ONE OFF TREATS. It’s also, y’know, dark and stuff.
Which sounds awful, but it’s just all done so bloody well. Obviously this was always a standout on Sleigh Bells’ debut, but now it’s even more awesome.
