Well, perhaps that’s pushing things a bit far, but this is a really wonderful video. Or pair of videos, whichever way you look at it.
Let’s take a look at what happens:
1. Yelle is apparently trying to evade some Safari dudes, while also contending with having an amazing haircut.
2. Some other dudes are hanging around upside down, for no apparent reason. Some have BALLOONS.
3. Yelle takes a dive into a mysterious underworld.
4. It is a SAFARI DISCO CLUB. Which means fun costumes. Yelle does some dancing.
5. The set is changed. As a random aside, Yelle puts on a strange triangular costume and recreates the promo still for this video. Yes, the promo still was of a section of the video devoted entirely to creating the promo still. META.
6. Robotic Yelle has a new amazing haircut and sings Que Veux-Tu. Video continues mostly as normal, but with more dancers.
7. BEARDY BIKER DUDE. Why? Why.
8. Yelle controls a bunch of mime-type characters via a keyboard painted on her arm. AS YOU DO.
9. FIN.
